One of the founders of the Kazakh composer’s music Latif KHAMIDI was born 113 years ago. He was born in the Kazan Region of the Republic of Tatarstan. Since 1933 he resided in Almaty. He composed over 50 songs and romances as well as a number of operas, including «Abai», «Tolegen Tokhtarov», «Zhambyl» and more. He passed away in 1983.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan in India and Sri Lanka concurrently Bulat SARSENBAYEV was born in 1957 in Almaty. He is a graduate of the Alma-Ata Pedagogic Institute of Foreign Languages and the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University. Throughout his diplomatic career he held various posts in Israel, Hong Kong, Greece, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, India and Sri Lanka.
Vice Minister of Education and Science Fatima ZHAKYPOVA was born 51 years ago in Almaty. She graduated from the Kirov Kazakh State University and the University of Kentucky. Prior to taking up the recent post in April 2019, she served as the rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
President of the Kazakhstan Press Club Assel KARAULOVA was born in 1969. She is a graduate of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, KIMEP and the University of Missouri Columbia. Ms Karaulova was among those who contributed to the development of domestic PR market. She helped implement over 320 successful PR projects and over 2,700 media events in Kazakhstan, Central Asia, CIS, Europe and South-East Asia.
Vice Minister of Agriculture Rustem KURMANOV was born in 1981 in North Kazakhstan region. He is a graduate of the Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University. He took up his recent post in March 2019.
